Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EZ Online Mortgage collects, uses, shares, and protects the information you share with us when you visit our website, use our tools, or apply for a home loan — and the privacy rights available to you, including under California law.

Last updated: June 2026

Overview

EZ Online Mortgage ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide. This policy describes the categories of information we collect, how we use, share, and safeguard it, and the choices and rights you have.

By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site. This policy applies to information we collect online through this website and through related communications, applications, and tools.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Identifiers and contact information — such as your name, email address, postal address, and phone number.
  • Financial information you provide — such as estimated credit range, income, property value, loan balances, down payment, and similar details you enter into our calculators, funnels, or a loan application.
  • Information collected automatically — such as device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and referring/exit pages, through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Marketing and attribution data — such as the campaign, source, or referrer that brought you to our site.
  • Information from third parties where permitted by law — such as consumer reporting agencies, but only when you authorize a credit-related request as part of an application.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve our website, tools, and loan services.
  • Respond to your inquiries and process and service applications you submit.
  • Communicate with you about your requests, rates, and relevant updates, consistent with your communication preferences and applicable law.
  • Measure and improve our marketing, and understand how our site is used.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security, and technical issues.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and lending obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following ways:

  • With service providers and vendors that perform services on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, communications, and document handling) under contracts that limit their use of the information.
  • With lending and fulfillment partners as necessary to evaluate, originate, or service a loan you request.
  • With regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

Some online advertising and analytics activities may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. You can opt out — see "Your California privacy rights" below and our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support marketing. You can control cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. Note that information processed under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) in connection with a financial product or service may be exempt from certain CCPA/CPRA provisions; the rights below apply to personal information that is not otherwise exempt.

Subject to those limits, you have the right to:

  • Know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise your right to access, delete, or correct, contact us using the details in "Contact us" below; you may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request. To opt out of sale/sharing, use the dedicated page below. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing.

Your choices

You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP (see our SMS Terms). You can manage cookies through our cookie banner and browser settings. Opting out of marketing will not affect communications necessary to service a loan or respond to your requests.

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep information

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations (which, for mortgage activity, can require multi-year retention), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
